Pregnancy Joke

A rural farmer got in his pickup and drove several miles to a neighboring farm and knocked on the farmhouse door. A young boy, about 12-years-old, opened the door. "Is yer pa home?" he asked. "Well," said the farmer uncomfortably, "I really wanted to talk to yer pa. It's about your brother, Joe, getting my daughter, Pearly Mae, pregnant." The boy considered for a moment. "You would have to talk to pa about that," he finally conceded. "I know that pa charges $500 for the bull and $250 for the boar hog, but I really don't know how much he gets for Joe."

Today's Training Lesson: Commercial Real Estate Loans From Banks Are All Very Similar

I recently wrote a blog article about commercial banks in which I described them as herd animals. Instead of charging whatever the market will bear, they charge pretty much the same interest rate and offer almost identical terms on commercial real estate loans. Therefore if your client, who owns a commercial property in New York, asks you - a California mortgage broker - what the rates and terms will be, just quote him whatever a California bank would quote him. You will usually be spot on.

Guys, you really need to read this blog article about all commercial banks quoting pretty much the same deal on commercial real estate loans.
